Journal of Historical Research in Marketing – special issue

The guest editors wish to bring to your attention a forthcoming special issue  in the Journal of Historical Research in Marketing, on the origins of  marketing thought and practices in the United Kingdom, which will be  published at the end of 2017. The emergence of marketing in the United Kingdom has received limited
attention by historians. Reflecting a desire to flesh out this neglected  history, this special issue of JHRM seeks historically oriented contributions that examine early marketing practices in the UK (please see the special  issue webpage for an indicative list of potential topics). Put otherwise, do consider submitting your work! This is a great opportunity to disseminate your research and ideas to like-minded scholars all working in a similar area. For further information, see:
http://www.emeraldgrouppublishing.com/products/journals/call_for_papers.htm?id=6722

The deadline for paper submissions is May 15, 2017. And, please don’t  hesitate to contact the guest editors if you have any questions about the SI or if we can help in any way:
